Dermal Filler
Your face, with the volume it had before life got interesting.
Somewhere in your early thirties — sometimes earlier, sometimes later — something shifts. Not dramatically. Not overnight. The hollows under your eyes get a little deeper. The cheeks sit slightly lower. The jawline softens in a way that's hard to name but easy to notice. You don't look bad. You just look like someone who's been through a few things.
Dermal filler, placed correctly, doesn't add to your face. It gives back what time quietly took. The result isn't more — it's restored. And when it's done right, the only thing anyone notices is that you look well.

What it Treats:
Dermal filler is a hyaluronic acid-based injectable that restores volume, creates structural support, and refines facial contours. Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the body, which means it integrates well and reverses cleanly with hyaluronidase if needed.
Emily uses filler as a tool for balance — assessing the face as a whole before placing a single syringe.
Treatment areas include:
Lip augmentation · Lip definition · Cheeks · Under-eyes (tear troughs) · Jawline · Chin · Temples · Nasolabial folds · Marionette lines · Facial balancing · Hand rejuvenation · Non-surgical nose refinement
What to Expect:
Appointments range from 30 to 60 minutes depending on the areas being treated. Emily begins every filler appointment with a facial assessment — looking at proportion, volume distribution, and what the face needs before deciding what to place and where.
Topical numbing is applied beforehand, and most fillers contain lidocaine, so discomfort during treatment is minimal. Some areas are more sensitive than others — lips and under-eyes especially — but most clients are surprised by how manageable it is.
Immediately after, expect some swelling, redness, and occasionally minor bruising — particularly in the lips and under-eye area. This is normal and typically resolves within a few days to a week. The result you leave with is not the final result. Give it two weeks to settle before forming an opinion.
Results:
When: Immediately, with full results visible at 2 weeks once swelling has resolved
How long: Varies by product and area — lips typically 6 to 9 months, cheeks and structural areas 12 to 18 months
What affects it: Metabolism, the area treated, product choice, and how much movement the area gets
Filler is not a one-time solution. It's a relationship. Results look best when maintained — not chased after they've fully dissolved.
IS THIS RIGHT FOR YOU?
Dermal filler suits adults looking to restore lost volume, refine specific features, or improve facial balance without surgery. The right candidate has realistic expectations, understands that results settle over two weeks, and is willing to have an honest conversation about what their face actually needs — which isn't always what they arrived asking for.
Emily will tell you if she thinks filler isn't the right approach for your concern. That honesty is part of what you're booking.
If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, this treatment isn't suitable right now. If you have an active skin infection, cold sore, or inflammatory condition in the treatment area, your appointment will need to be rescheduled.
If you've had filler elsewhere that you're unhappy with, please see the Corrective Work page before booking.

The Questions People Actually Ask:
01. I don't want to look overfilled. How do I avoid that? You're asking the right question — and the answer is choosing the right injector. Overfilled results come from too much product, placed in the wrong areas, often to compensate for poor technique. Emily's approach is conservative and anatomically driven. She'll tell you how much is appropriate, and she won't be pushed past it.
02. My lips are my main concern. Do I need more than one syringe? Not necessarily. One syringe of lip filler, placed well, can deliver a significant improvement in volume, shape, and definition. Emily will assess your lips and recommend what's actually needed — not what's most profitable.
03. Can filler fix under-eye hollows? In the right candidate, yes. Tear trough filler is one of the most impactful treatments on the menu — and also one of the most technique-dependent. Emily will assess whether you're a suitable candidate at consultation, as not everyone is. Cheek support often needs to be addressed alongside under-eye treatment for the best result.
04. What happens if I stop getting filler? Your face returns to its natural state as the filler gradually dissolves. You don't age faster, and you don't look worse than before. You simply look like yourself without it.
