Deep Cleaning Facial
For skin that needs more than a refresh. It needs a proper reset.
Congested skin is one of those things that builds so gradually you almost stop noticing it — until you look closely and see that your pores have become a collection of everything they've absorbed over months. Product buildup, environmental debris, excess sebum, the kind of deep-seated congestion that no cleanser at home reaches.
The Deep Cleaning Facial is the most thorough cleanse on the NEA menu. It goes where your at-home routine can't — and leaves behind skin that feels genuinely clean, perhaps for the first time in a while.

What it Treats:
A comprehensive deep cleansing treatment combining professional-grade cleansing, steam, thorough extraction, and targeted treatment to address congestion, enlarged pores, and impurities at every level of the skin.
Most effective for:
Congested or acne-prone skin · Enlarged or blocked pores · Blackheads and whiteheads · Oily skin · Dull skin from buildup · Skin that feels perpetually unclean despite a good homecare routine
What to Expect:
Approximately 60 minutes. Some mild redness and sensitivity after thorough extraction is normal — this typically resolves within 24 hours. Skin will feel genuinely clean and look clearer immediately following treatment, with continued improvement over the following days as any post-extraction inflammation settles.
This is one of the treatments where the experience in the room is as satisfying as the result. Deeply cleansed skin has a specific feeling — and clients who haven't experienced it before are often surprised by how different it is from everything they've tried at home.
Results:
When: Immediately — with improvement continuing over the following week as skin settles
How long: Monthly treatments are the ideal maintenance cadence for congested or acne-prone skin
What affects it: Skin type, homecare routine, diet, and lifestyle factors that contribute to congestion
IS THIS RIGHT FOR YOU?
The Deep Cleaning Facial is particularly well-suited to clients with congested, oily, or acne-prone skin — or anyone whose skin has been feeling dull and unresponsive to their homecare routine. It is not recommended during an active acne flare with open, inflamed breakouts — in that case, Emily will recommend the most appropriate alternative.

The Questions People Actually Ask:
01. Will extractions make my acne worse? Professional extractions performed correctly do not worsen acne — quite the opposite. The key is technique and timing. Emily will assess your skin before extraction and will not proceed in a way that risks spreading inflammation or infection. If your skin isn't in the right condition for extraction that day, she'll tell you and adapt the treatment accordingly.
02. How often should I do this? For consistently congested skin, monthly is the standard recommendation — aligned with the skin's renewal cycle. Some clients with more moderate concerns space treatments every six to eight weeks. Emily will advise based on your skin specifically.
03. What should I do at home between sessions? Consistent cleansing, appropriate exfoliation, and non-comedogenic products make a meaningful difference between sessions. Emily will make specific homecare recommendations based on your skin type at your appointment.
